I had an outstanding experience with Aspire Solar and especially with Luke, the owner. From the very first conversation, it was clear he is simply a good person. He is honest, responsive, and never once pushed me. I spoke with several solar companies during my evaluation process, and Luke was the only one I immediately connected with. He worked with me to get the best deal he could and walked me through every part of the process in a way that actually made sense. Over time we even found common hobbies and interests, so the conversations felt more like talking to a friend than a salesperson.
The installation itself was incredibly smooth, but what really sets Aspire apart is what happened next. During the install, Luke’s team discovered a serious issue behind my TECO smart meter. One of the main connections was loose and had clear signs of burning. This could have led to a house fire. Aspire immediately contacted TECO, who shut down my power due to the hazard. Luke’s master electricians replaced all the internal components, made everything safe and up to current standards, and never charged me a single extra dollar for any of it.
Because TECO shut the grid off, Aspire commissioned my system in a way that allowed me to run off-grid temporarily until the county inspection and TECO approval were completed. When TECO refused to restore power without an inspection, Luke reached out to his contacts at the county and worked directly with leadership to get everything resolved quickly. Thanks to him, TECO restored power and we avoided what could have been days without electricity.
Now that the system has been running for over a week, I can confidently say it is sized perfectly. I can power my entire home, charge the Powerwalls and both EVs, and the Powerwalls easily carry us through the night even during the shortest days of the year. Once TECO finalizes net metering, the system will only perform better by pushing excess power back to the grid.
Aspire’s crew was friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly. The install itself is extremely clean and looks fantastic. I truly feel energy independent at a time when rates keep climbing.
As someone who works in IT, I’m aware of the strain AI datacenters are putting on the national grid and how far behind the United States is on new power generation compared to countries like China. That only reinforces how important it is to take control of your own energy where you can.

Luke was great in explaining the advantages of solar and his calculations for our home were spot on! Our electric bill in just two months has been cut 80% in the hottest time of the year! Highly recommend Aspire Solar as he will walk you through the process; keep you posted on install status and make sure you are comfortable with the App to monitor your output and savings. I also recommend the Tesla powerwall to give you greater savings when the sun goes down and the peace of mind back up when their is a power outage!

I never contemplated having solar, but after 3 consecutive months of over $900 energy bills, I decided to look into it. Luke, the owner, was the first, real and local company to call me directly. He was never a sales man to me but an information source. He agreed that I should explore all options and companies. After getting every competitors "sales pitch" from some person in another state, I decided to go with Luke from Aspire. It was the best decision. He always communicated and continues to communicate with me, even though my project is completed and he has received his money. He's honest, straight forward and professional. Don't bother with anyone else. I highly recommend Aspire to anyone looking at installing solar at their properties.
